Power of Attorney
Definition
A power of attorney is a legal document that grants authority to an individual or organization to act on behalf of another party in legal or business matters. In the supply chain context, a power of attorney may be used to authorize a logistics provider, customs broker, or other designated party to act on behalf of the shipper or consignee in various activities, such as customs clearance, document signing, or representation in legal proceedings.
