Port of arrival
Definition
The port of arrival is the final destination port where a vessel arrives and completes its journey. It is the point where cargo is unloaded, and the consignee takes possession of the goods. The port of arrival is specified in the transport document and represents the endpoint of the sea transportation leg of the supply chain.
